We are seeking a Team Lead in Solutions Architecture to join the global Aven Hospitality team. Aven Hospitality is an innovative technology provider powered by SynXis, the leading global hospitality commerce and distribution platform. The team empower hoteliers around the world to exceed expectations, solve daily challenges and stay ahead of the competition.
As a Team Lead in Solutions Architecture, you will provide technical direction for complex projects and guide a team of architects in a matrix environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of scalable architectural blueprints that utilize cloud-native platforms and AI-driven capabilities to resolve industry challenges. This role requires substantial latitude for independent decision-making, a focus on technical mentorship and the ability to influence outcomes across the global hospitality ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Take the lead role in technical design for complex enterprise sales opportunities and RFPs by interpreting customer business needs and mapping platform capabilities to deliver high-value solutions.
Determine the best approach to achieve customer objectives through advanced product configuration or by identifying strategic product enhancements to address functionality gaps.
Engage deeply across the solution lifecycle from initial requirement gathering through to implementation with continuous involvement to ensure successful delivery and customer success.
Collaborate with solution architects and cross-functional teams across development, infrastructure and security to maintain operational excellence for all designed solutions.
Support the growth of technical expertise by mentoring solutions architects, solution engineers and adjacent sales consulting or delivery teams.
Preferred qualifications and education
Minimum 8 years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting or software engineering within hospitality tech.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction for teams and manage large-scale projects independently.
Expertise in Central Reservations Systems (CRS) and API-driven architecture within cloud-native environments.
Proven success navigating complex organizational landscapes and influencing stakeholders to deliver results.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical specifications into meaningful business value for executives and partners.
