Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and especially stand-up trucks to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, materials handling, and safety protocols to ensure smooth and secure logistics processes. Prior experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and shipping; receiving is highly valued. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory management and supporting overall warehouse productivity. Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and especially stand-up trucks, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks and other heavy equipment to load and unload goods Assist with order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Load and unload materials from trucks safely and efficiently Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate inventory records during shipping and receiving processes Support warehouse management with materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting and stacking Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to prevent accidents or injuries Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and workflow efficiency Assist in the training of new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures when required Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping, receiving, or materials handling Previous certification. Proficiency in operating forklifts, Cherry Pickers, especially stand-up trucks, and pallet jacks Familiarity with OSHA safety standards for industrial equipment operation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including load & unload procedures, order picking Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds Ability to work independently and safely What We Offer Competitive salary.
