Job Description
Wealth Advisor
New York, NY (In Office)
WEALTH ADVISOR OVERVIEW
Our Mission
NerdWallet Wealth Partners (NWWP) is a rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) redefining wealth management. Founded by experienced advisors, we deliver high-touch, human-to-human service through personalized financial planning, research-driven investing and proactive behavioral coaching. We provide an elevated and relatable advisory experience built on trust, fiduciary excellence, and long-term partnership.
Job Purpose
Advisors are central to our firm, developing and stewarding long-term client relationships while delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment management. As the end-to-end relationship owner—from initial engagement through ongoing advice and portfolio oversight—Wealth Advisors serve as a trusted fiduciary, providing highly personalized, research-driven guidance aligned with each client’s long-term goals. This role directly contributes to firm growth through client conversion, retention, and strategic insight.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Wealth Advisor is the client relationship owner within the Advisory team focused on deep advice and client service rather than prospecting. Supported by tech-forward infrastructure and a collaborative team, Wealth Advisors are empowered to focus on what matters most: delivering highly personalized advice and building enduring client relationships through comprehensive financial planning, investment implementation, and proactive client engagement.
In addition to client-facing responsibilities, this role contributes to a collaborative and inclusive team environment participating in team discussions, feedback conversations, and professional development opportunities. The role also contributes to frontline insights to improve sales effectiveness, client experience, and overall firm growth while upholding the highest fiduciary standards.
