Role We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our team in a hybrid capacity in Bangalore, reporting to the Director, Product Management within the Product Management department. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be the driving force behind the evolution of our Cyber portfolio, transforming complex security challenges into seamless platform solutions. You will serve as a critical bridge between customer needs and technical execution, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of the cybersecurity landscape. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Lead across cross-functional teams to prioritize and drive high-impact enhancements to the Cyber portfolio Create comprehensive PRDs that provide clear problem definitions and technical requirements to ensure alignment across all engineering teams Engage deeply with other product teams to ensure their success in leveraging and integrating common Cyber services across the platform Maintain a relentless customer-centric mindset to deeply empathize with and solve the evolving pain points within the cybersecurity landscape Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive in ambiguity. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 8–10 years of experience in Enterprise Products specifically within Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Network Security Product Management Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field Deep technical understanding of SSE, SASE, AI, Email Security, HTTP, DNS, SSL, IPS, Advanced Threat Protection, and Sandboxing Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present effectively to customers and partners while managing multiple competing priorities What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Previous experience directly managing Cybersecurity products such as Endpoint, Advanced Threat Protection, IPS, and Sandboxing A proven track record in identifying complex requirements and authoring detailed functional specifications Strong background in Engineering or Threat Research, including technical certifications or experience in customer-facing technical roles like escalation or sales engineering #LI-NT1 #LI-Hybrid At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
